Wait One More Week
If you are anything like me, you are anxiously awaiting the “cue” to plant your garden. It seems to me every year around this time I feel so unscientific about my garden planting start date. For Pea Patch Gardens it’s more like a feeling… A sense that the ground is ready and the temperature will cooperate. If you have some chives, oregano, rhubarb or garlic planted in your garden form previous years then it’s likely you have seen some green shoots & leaves. That first sign of baby green growth signaling that spring is just around the corner. True, we can plant our peas and some lettuce, our onions and kale, and maybe even a new crop of herbs. But, take my advice, wait another week or two to let this last cold spell pass *fingers crossed*. Keep an eye on our blog and we will be sure to tell you when our peas and broccoli are going in the ground. Happy gardening & Grow for it!
